Manual spraygun instructions

In this photo you can see 3 important parts of the sprayer: The pump system, the head of the sprayer and the air release valve.

Before screwing the pump system into the head, make sure that the retention valve (silver stainless steel plate) is positioned well on the bottom. Push it with your finger until you are sure it is firmly in place and push the white washer too. Otherwise you run the risk of bending it and not screwing the pumping system tightly.

Then screw on the pump system by turning clockwise and tighten firmly.

It is recommended to sieve the glaze with a No. 100 mesh before using it, to be sure that there are no lumps that could clog the spray system. If the glaze is too thick, splashes will occur or the liquid will not come out at all. In this case, dissolve the glaze with a little water.

Pour the liquid into the container. Do not fill it completely. Up to half maximum as there must be space for pressurized air to enter. Screw the tank tightly onto the head and you are ready to spray!

To begin spraying, point the spray gun toward your piece, pump the plunger 4 or 5 times and the spray will be released. Pumping from time to time will allow for a continuous flow thanks to the retention valve inside the spray gun.
In the video we cover the nozzle with our finger to demonstrate how the pressure is maintained inside the tank. When you want to stop spraying, you can stop pumping and the gun will stop spraying after a few seconds, or you can turn the air release valve for quick depressurization.

Make sure you clean your spray gun thoroughly after use. Maintenance of your spray gun is simple: Make sure to rinse the bottle well, fill it with water and spray the clean water through the assembly. Leaving glaze, oxides or stains in the siphon hose, head or nozzle to dry will cause clogging in the future.
